Step 10 

Center Section

 

Build the Center Section 

A: 

Place wax paper on your building surface Locate the “Center Section” from the 

CENTER SECTION SHEETING 

sheet.  Place this on your surface..  BE SURE ITS flat you’ll probably need to clamp it 

B: 

Locate the “Radio box sides”, “Rear Radio Box Bulkhead”, “Nose Doublers” and “Former “C”, test fit as shown 

C: 

Locate the “Transom Doublers” and  Glue together. 

D: 

Test fit in place as shown

 

E: 

With all the formers radio box bulkhead and transom doublers in place, tack glue all parts 

F: 

Finishing adding formers, note extra long tabs, glue into place 

G: 

Install “Front Radio box bulkhead” use masking tape to hold in place 

H: 

Locate 1 piece of 1/8” square basswood strip as shown in B, place out strip as shown in picture F 

I: 

Be sure the square is in the notch in the transom , using a razor saw trim the length of the stick as shown
