INCLINEO handbook

Auto-routing

The auto-routing function enables the intelligent and automatic selection of the next meas-
urement point. Auto-routing can be activated at anytime. To activate auto-routing select
‘Tools’>’Options’>’Auto-routing’.

Auto-routing is activated by checking the ‘Activate automatic flow’ box, and can be further
defined in terms of the turn-by-turn directions.

Constant direction implies that measurement will always be taken in the same direction:
A1 ––> A2 ––> A3 ––> A4 ––> B1 ––> B2 ––> B3 ––> B4

Alternating direction implies that measurement direction can be changed:
A1 ––> A2 ––> A3 ––> A4 ––> B4 ––>B3 ––> B2 ––> B1

The ‘Direction’ drop

down menu shows

the available turn-by-

turn directions.
