7. Now change the IP settings for the NAS Client Link.
IP settings must be correct or the NAS will not function. If unworkable IP settings are entered, an error message
appears instructing you to change the settings to create a functional NAS.
Most importantly:
•
A-Class Link:
The IP settings for the Management port or ports must be in the same subnet as the VTrak
A-Class Management port.
•
NAS Client Link:
The IP settings for the output ports (to NAS clients) must be an a different subnet.
Note that if LDAP settings are configured for the VTrak A-Class, these will be synced automatically.
