Maintenance and Cleaning
Please consider that only the following work can be carried out by the user. All other
maintenance and repair work shall only be carried out by
Proceq SA
or your
authorized Proceq agent, otherwise the guarantee and liability claims will be void.
8.1 Cleaning of the device
It is recommended to clean the optics with clean air and not with cloths and liquids
as this will cause damage. Whereas, for cleaning of the aluminium housing a
proper, soft wet cloth can be used.
Do not use aggressive cleaning agents.
If the device has to be disinfected, do not use disinfectants that contain
sodium hydroxide.
8.2 Cleaning of the standard
The accuracy of measurements can be impaired significantly by using dirty or
damaged standards. Since the surface of the standard is highly sensitive, cleaning
must be undertaken with great care.
It is recommended to clean the standard with the included microfiber cleaning cloth.
Apply only slight pressure during cleaning and make sure there are no large
particles stuck in the cloth that could damage or scratch the surface.
