5 Safety precautions and maintenance rules
1. This coin sorter is only for counting EURO coins. Do not put the coins of other countries,
tokens (medals), collector coins or customized coins into the device.
2. The receiving slots are very easy to be removed from the counter. Please be careful during
operation. Before moving the device, please remove all coins from the receiving slots. When
moving the device, please hold the device smoothly and avoid dropping the receiving slots.
3. Read this manual before operation.
4. The manual should be available to operator.
5. Do not use the device under the following conditions:
- The device is not resting on a level surface
- The device is exposed to excessive moisture or humidity
- The device will be exposed to vibration while in use
- The device is in an excessively dusty or polluted room
- The device is exposed to direct sunlight
- The device is near other dangerous objects
6 Do not operate the device with wet hands
7. Avoid allowing foreign objects or liquids into the counter / receiving slots. In the event that
a foreign object or liquid does enter the device, turn off the device and contact a service
center.
8. Avoid dropping the device.
9. When finished be sure there are no coins in the hopper, the receiving slots or inside of the
counter.
10. Do not disassemble or attempt to update the device on your own. This could lead to
accidents or the complete failure of the device.
11. When a jam occurs inside the counter (as evidenced by coins continually moving around
inside the counter, despite no coins having been put into the device), open the rear cover and
carefully remove the coins from the track of the counter.
6 Preparing for Operation
- Set the device on an even surface
- Make sure that there are no coins or foreign objects in the hopper or the receiving slots
- Put the 8 receiving slots into the counter (in no particular order)
- Make sure that all of the receiving slots (8 units) have been fully inserted into the device
- Turn the power switch ON
- The motor starts turning and the device enters the self testing mode, after which the display
shows “0.00”
If error messages E1-E8, E0, or Ec occur, please contact a service center.
