Fault Condition
WARNING
Using the defective or damaged compressor can lead to grave or fatal injuries.
By beginning a defect, disconnect the compressor from a power supply immediately.
Blow the compressor only after disconnecting from the power supply.
Use the compressor only after removal of a defect.
LOOK OUT!
Repairing the compressor by unqualified employer can lead to breakdown of the device.
Assure repairing the compressor only by representatives of the manufacturing company.
Fault Condition
By beginning fault condition that you cannot remove by lubrication or cleaning, take a service centre of the
company of PREBENA.
Do not do repair work with the compressor unaided.
Assure removing any defects of the compressors by employers of a service centre of the company of
PREBENA.
Revue of Fault Condition
In the following review, there are description of possible fault condition and measures for its removal.

The motor does not start.
Defect of a power supply.
Check the conductor and fuse anew.
Compare characteristics of the motor and power supply.
B
The motor works irregularly.
Small tension of the driving V-belt.
Adjust tension of the V-belt.
Tear and wear of the driving V-belt.
Replace the driving V-belt.
C
The protective automatic device of the
motor is switched off for working.
Unsatisfactory work of a power
supply.
Switch off power consumer.
Extension lead is too long or its cross-
section is too small.
Use a suitable cable.
The protective automatic device is
activated by superheating.
Stop power supply by the pressure relay.
Let the compressor get cold.
If the compressor has an external protective automatic
device, activate the protective device again.
If by new start the protective automatic device is activated
again:
Take the department of work with clients (See p. 25).
D
Strong tear and wear of the V-belt (black
thin coating on the protection of the belt)
Too small tension of the driving V-belt. Adjust tension of the V-belt.
E
The compressed air in the compressor does
not reach the maximal pressure.
Conductors and / or manual joint are
not strong.
Fix a screw joint, seal and correspondently clean.
Take the department of work with clients (See p. 25).
The screw joint of the safety valve of
maximal pressure is not in the working
position.
Screw out completely the safety valve of maximal pressure.
The safety valve of maximal pressure
is blown too early.
Replace the valve.
Take the department of work with clients (See p. 25).
Piston rings has hardened or worn
out.
Put in order or replace piston rings.
Take the department of work with clients (See p. 25).
