Minor Repairs

Turn the bulb socket counter-clockwise and

remove it.

Pull both release tabs on the connector apart,

and pull connector out of bulb socket.

Replace defective bulb.

Make sure that the bulb is installed in the

correct position.

Close cover on headlight.

The release tab must engage fully.

Install the headlight.

Please see the chapter “INSTALLING

HEADLIGHTS” on page 296.

Check operation of bulbs.

Changing bulb (H7) for auxiliary

high-beam headlight

Remove the headlight.

Please see the chapter “REMOVING

HEADLIGHTS” on page 295.

Press the release tab and open the cover.
