• Service adjustments (such as timing, valve adjustment, idle speed,
mixture adjustments, brake, clutch, headlight, drive belts and cam
belt) beyond the first maintenance unless part of a warranty repair.
• Improper repairs.
• Abuse, accident, acts of God or other events beyond the control of
PCNA, competition, racing or track use.
To Get Warranty Service
You must take your car, along with proof of purchase date, to an aut-
horized Porsche automobile dealer during normal service hours. If the
car is not drivable because of a defect covered by this warranty, call
the nearest authorized Porsche automobile dealer for further assistan-
ce.
If you cannot get warranty service, or you are dissatisfied with the
service or with a warranty decision, refer to the Customer Satisfac-
tion section in this Booklet.
Your Responsibility
You must maintain your Porsche according to the Maintenance Sche-
dule and Car Care Instructions in this Booklet and keep the receipts
as proof of maintenance.
Your Responsibility for Normal Vehicle Use
Your Owner's Manual (which includes specific recommendations
against using your car in certain ways) was written with the assump-
tion that you will use your car only in ways for which it was designed:
• To carry passengers and cargo within specified load limits. (The
load limits are specified on labels located in different places depen-
ding on the model of your Porsche.) See your Owner's Manual for
their locations.
• To be driven on reasonable road surfaces within legal speed limits.

• To generally be driven daily over a distance of several miles. In the
event of prolonged storage, contact your local authorized Porsche
automobile dealer for instructions.
• To be run on unleaded gasoline of 95 Research Octane Number or
higher (Anti-Knock Index (AKI) or U.S. Cost of Living Council (CLC)
of 90 or higher).
• To be properly maintained according to the Maintenance Schedu-
le in this Booklet.
This Warranty is Subject to the Following Limitation and Disclai-
mer
PCNA disclaims any responsibility for loss of time or use of the
parts or the vehicle in which the parts are installed, transportation
or any other incidental or consequential damage. Any implied
warranties, including the implied warranties of merchantability
and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited to the duration of
this written warranty.
Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied war-
ranty lasts, or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or conse-
quential damages, so the above limitations or exclusions may not
apply to you.
This specific warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you
may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
Warranty Outside the U.S.
If your car is brought to an authorized Porsche automobile dealer out-
side the U.S., PCNA's warranty will not be applicable and defective
parts will be repaired or replaced only within the terms and limitations
of the warranty for new Porsche vehicles for your model year in effect
in the country where such authorized Porsche automobile dealer is
located.
