Emission Control Defects Warranty:
5 years, 50,000 miles. This warranty, which is in addition to the
Porsche New Car Limited Warranty described above, certifies (I) that
your Porsche was designed, built and equipped to conform to all U.S.
emission standards applicable at the time of manufacture, and (2) that
it is free from defects in materials and workmanship that would cause
it not to meet those standards (see detailed description).
Emission Controls Performance Warranty:
5 years, 50,000 miles. This warranty essentially states that if you
maintain, care for and use your Porsche vehicle as described in this
booklet and in the Owner's Manual and it should fail an EPA-approved
emission test, PCNA will, in the first 2 years or 24,000 miles, cover the
cost of making all necessary adjustments, repairs and replacements
necessary for the vehicle to pass the test; after 2 years/24,000 miles,
PCNA will cover the cost of performing this work on the emission sys-
tem components listed in this booklet up to 5 years, 50,000 miles (whi-
chever occurs first).
California Emission Performance and Defects Warranty.
Applies to California vehicles only. The short-term emission defects
warranty is 3 years/50,000 miles. Be sure to read the details of your
rights and responsibilities under the California Emission Control War-
ranty sections of this booklet. California Emission Extended Defects
Warranty applies to California vehicles only. The extended emission
defects warranty is 7 years/70,000 miles. Be sure to read the details of

Replacement Parts & Accessories Limited Warranty.
You are urged to always specify only Genuine Porsche replacement
parts. Parts supplied by PCNA and installed by an authorized Porsche
dealer at the time of purchase are covered for 1 year from the date
installed. (See details about "normal vehicle use" and exclusions in this
booklet.)
Porsche Roadside Assistance Program.
This comprehensive, customer-oriented program* is designed to give
new-Porsche buyers an extra level of security and peace of mind.
Every new 1991 Porsche automobile bought or leased is covered 24
hours a day, seven days a week for the 24 month new vehicle war-
ranty period through the Amoco® Motor Club. The membership card
and a special manual are found in the glove compartment. New-
Porsche vehicle owners can now depend on the availability of roadside
assistance no matter what time or even what day it is.
365 days a year, an 800 number (1-800-272-7677) accesses roadside
assistance that includes:
• Winching service for stuck vehicles
• Jump starts - per Porsche recommendations
• Emergency gasoline
• Towing when necessary
• Spare tire installation
• Lost keys or lock-out assistance
• Nearest dealer referral
• Trip planning, including rental car discounts
All of these emergency services are available in the U.S. and Canada
and are applicable whether due to a mechanical failure or a collision.
Additionally, new Porsche vehicle buyers will be reimbursed for a rent-
al car when their car will be unavailable for more than 24 hours due to
a warranty repair; and they will be reimbursed (up to $500.00 per per-
son) for local meals, lodging, and alternate transportation when a trip
