PDC 2000/3000 Repair Manual

Parts Replacement

LCD Assembly Removal

1. Remove the top cover

2. Remove the edit board.

3. Disconnect the autofocus board to shutter board cable from the connector on the shutter

board (Figure 5-15).

4. Disconnect the LCD to shutter board cable from the connector on the shutter board.

5. Remove the two Phillips pan-head screws which secure the LCD assembly to the top cover

and lift the assembly free.

6. Remove the LCD cover window from the top cover indent by simply lifting it out.

LCD Assembly Installation

To install the LCD assembly, reverse the removal procedure.

Note:

Be sure to install a new self-adhesive rubber gasket on the bottom of the new LCD
assembly.
