Ventilation Modes
User-selectable Ventilation modes are:
Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) –(pM-BP25 Pro S/T and pM-BP25 Pro)
In the CPAP mode, the device provides continuous pressure support ventilation at one pressure level.
Spontaneous (S) –(pM-BP25 Pro S/T and pM-BP25 Pro)
In the S mode, the device provides bi-level pressure support. The device triggers to inspiratory positive
airway pressure (IPAP) in response to spontaneous inspiratory effort and cycles to Expiratory positive airway
pressure (EPAP) during exhalation.
Timed (T) –( just pM-BP25 Pro S/T)
In the T mode, the device provides fixed time bi-level pressure support. The device can deliver IPAP and EPAP
in response to setting parameters which breathe rate and inspiration time were set by users. The inspiration is
time-triggered and time-cycled, the breath rate of patient does not affect the rate and pressure of the device.
Spontaneous/Timed (S/T) –(just pM-BP25 Pro S/T)
The S/T mode of the device is similar to the S mode, the difference is that it also provides a machine-triggered
breath if the patient does not spontaneously breathe within a set time.
