8.5.5 expedite percent

This command identifies the maximum guaranteed amount of bandwidth to be reserved for the specified

class instance within the named policy using a relative rate notation. The committed information rate is

specified as a percentage of total link capacity and is an integer from 1 to 100. The optional committed

burst size is specified in kilobytes (KB) as an integer from 1 to 128, with a default of 4.

Note

The actual bandwidth allocation does not occur until the policy is attached to an interface in a

particular direction.

Note

The expedite kbps and percent commands are alternative ways to specify the same expedite

policy attribute.

The sum of the committed information rate values for all bandwidth and expedite

commands defined within a policy must not exceed the available link bandwidth of the interface to

or more interfaces.
