User’s Manual of FSD-804PS

Please press

“Browser”

to locate the latest firmware of Switch that deposit in your PC and press

“Upgrade”

to start the

firmware upgrade process. The screen in

Figure 4-9

appears.

1. Do

not

power off

the PoE Switch until the update progress is complete.

2. Do

not

quit

the Firmware Upgrade page without press the

“Upgrade”

button - after the image is

loaded. Or the system won’t apply the new firmware. Users have to repeat the firmware upgrade
processes again.

Do not

use

Firefox

Windows Vista

platform for FSD-804PS firmware upgrade or it might cause

the firmware upgrade fail. It is due to the short “HTTP respond time” for Firefox and Windows Vista.

While firmware upgrade, there is no immediately respond each to the Firefox and Windows Vista, they

will break the connection as http time out. It is suggested to use the Microsoft IE 6.0 at Windows XP

platform for firmware upgrade.
