Appendix B Alarm Output
Alarm Output
The Kryo550-16 is provided with an alarm output at the side of the interface panel. This is a
normally closed voltage-free relay output.
Only connect the alarm output to equipment that complies with EN 61010-1
or IEC 950 or their equivalent.
The alarm output is provided for indication of control deviations or sensor
failures. It must never be used as the sole alarm or for safety critical
applications.
Do not exceed the maximum rating of the relay output stated below.
The user must ensure that the equipment attached complies with all
regulatory requirements.
All cabling should be fully screened and should not exceed 2m in length.
Lengths > 2m may require special provisions to prevent RFI affecting the
performance of the freezer or compromising the EMC compliance of the
system.
