17.3 Belt or Brush Bar: Removal and Replacement
Tools Required: Phillips Head Screwdriver
WARNING
: to reduce the risk of injury from moving parts, switch off and
unplug cleaner before changing belt or brush.
17.3.1 To Remove Belt
•
Lay cleaner flat and flip cleaner over to expose bottom face of floor head.
Floor Head should lay flat and face up.
•
To remove the Belt and Brush Guard, use a Phillips head screwdriver to
remove only the three (3) screws as indicated by the Arrows in the
diagram.
•
Flip cleaner right side up. Rotate Belt and Brush Guard forward and lift
off.
•
Lift brush bar up and remove. Remove and discard the old belt.
