17.5 Debris Removal: Hose / Vacuum Cleaner
If you believe the hose has become blocked:
•
Check to see if Dust Canister is full; empty if needed.
•
Plug cleaner in and switch on to check if there is any suction at the end of
the hose. If there is no suction at the end of hose.
•
If no suction:
1. Turn off and unplug from the power point.
2. Remove Dust Canister and check Dust Canister inlet located on the
cleaner and remove obstruction if present. If not blocked:
3. Unwrap hose from vacuum cleaner.
4. Twist and unlock hose ends to remove.
5. Clean out hose with a broom handle.
6. If the Hose is not blocked, check the access door on the back of the
cleaner (near hose end). Remove the seven (7) screws and check for
obstructions. Remove obstructions if present. If not blocked go to
step 7.
7. Remove Belt and Brush Guard by removing the three (3) screws as
described under the section “To Remove Belt”. Remove obstructions.
