1 Remote Sensor
Receives the signals f r om the r emote cont r ol.
2 Timer Indicator
Lights when the time r is set ( p age 28).
3 Disc Tray
Place the disc, label side u p ( p age 13).
4 iPod or iPhone Docking Station
Dock iPod/iPhone ( p age 17).
5 Volume Control
Use to set the listening volume ( p age 11).
6 STANDBY/ON Button
Switches the r eceive r between standby and on ( p age 11).
7 INPUT Button
Selects the in p ut sou r ce ( p age 12).
8 Headphone Socket
Use to connect head p hones. When the head p hones a r e
connected, the r e is no sound out p ut f r om the s p eake r s
( p age 12).
9 AUDIO IN Socket
Use to connect an auxilia r y com p onent using a ste r eo
minijack cable ( p age 12).
10 USB Terminal
Use to connect you r USB mass sto r age device o r A pp le iPad
as an audio sou r ce ( p age 19).
11 Tune Down, Skip Down Button
Selects the desi r ed t r ack o r folde r to be p layed back.
12 Tune Up, Skip Up Button
Selects the desi r ed t r ack o r folde r to be p layed back.
13 Stop Button
Use to sto p the p layback.
14 Play or Pause Button
Sto p s p layback o r r esumes p layback f r om the p ause p oint.
15 Disc Tray Open/Close Button
Use to o p en o r close the disc t r ay ( p age 13).
Test of the remote control
Check the r emote cont r ol afte r checking all the connections.
Point the r emote cont r ol di r ectly at the r emote senso r on the
unit. The r emote cont r ol can be used within the r ange shown
below:
