• Once iPod o r iPhone is connected to the unit it will begin
cha r ging.
• You can r echa r ge the iPad when the p owe r is on o r du r ing
iPod Cha r ge Mode.
• When connecting the iPad, use only an iPad dedicated
cable.
• Connect iPad to the USB te r minal.
• iPod and iPhone a r e licensed fo r r e pr oduction of non-
co p y r ighted mate r ials o r mate r ials the use r is legally
p e r mitted to r e pr oduce.
• Featu r es such as the equalize r cannot be cont r olled using
this r eceive r , and we r ecommend switching the equalize r
off befo r e connecting.
Connecting your iPod/iPhone
CAUTION
• When connecting an iPod/iPhone units, always use the
unive r sal dock ada p te r pr ovided with you r iPod/iPhone, o r
a comme r cially ada p te r designed to su pp o r t iPod/iPhone.
The iPod/iPhone cannot be connected without a unive r sal
dock ada p te r ; attem p ting to connect an iPod/iPhone
without a unive r sal dock ada p te r will cause damage o r
malfunction.
• Un p lug all accesso r ies f r om the iPod o r iPhone befo r e
inse r ting it into the dock.
1 Open the dock cover by pulling up.
2 Attach the Universal dock adapter to iPod/iPhone
connector port on this unit.
• An iPod/iPhone unive r sal dock ada p te r is not su pp lied
with this unit.
When attaching the Unive r sal dock ada p te r , be su r e to o r ient
the f r ont-back di r ections of the Unive r sal dock ada p te r
co rr ectly. To attach, fi r st p lace the pr ot r uding tabs on the
f r ont side of the ada p te r into the de pr essions on the iPod/
iPhone connecto r p o r t and pr ess into p osition. When
attaching the ada p te r , be ca r eful not to st r ike the connecto r s.
3 Connect your iPod/iPhone.
• If an iPod/iPhone is connected when this unit is in
standby mode, the p owe r will tu r n on and p layback of the
iPod/iPhone will begin.

1 Insert the iPad connector to the iPad.
