8.3 CPRM ID NUMBER AND DATA SETTING
For the D V D recorder,it is necessary with the recoding/play b ack of D V D-R W disc to set an individual
num b er (ID num b er) and ID data to each recorder. If the num b er and data are not set correctly with the
following procedure, cannot work with residual quantity 0:00 or operations in the future may not b e
guaranteed with R W disc. You will find the ID num b er to b e set on the ID la b el on the rear panel.
The Input is Necessary When:
• " CPRM ERR" is displayed on the FL display immediately after the power is turned on or in Stop mode.
•
W hen the MAI N ASSY or the HDD is exchanged.
Important: If no ID la b el is found on the rear panel, write down the specified ID num b er b y checking it
according to "How to confirm the ID num b er" shown b elow.
• Input the ID num b er while the unit is in Stop mode.
• After the data are read from the data disc (Type 2), the disc will automatically b e unloaded.
