To update the value for each item, press the SEARCH key while su b screen 4 is displayed.
For details on each item and the conditions of updating the values, see Ta b le 2 b elow.
[Procedures]
If the results of degradation of the LDs for CDs or D V Ds are N G, replace the drive.
• For correct measurement of items to indicated in the display b elow, leave the unit at room
temperature (25˚C) for a while b efore turning it on, and do not load a disc.
• For RF measurement (item ), it is recommended to use the Test disc (GG V 1025).
As the RF level differs depending on the characteristics of the pickup from product to product, it cannot
b e used for judging degradation of the LD. Use the RF level as a rough guide to know the difference
b etween b efore and after lens cleaning.

• W hile the User Operation screen is displayed, press the ESC , DISP then 2 keys, then the DIG/A N A
key three times, in that order.
