Pilz synchronous servo motors are not suitable for potentially explosive atmospheres in
accordance with (ATEX) Directive2014/34/EU.

Secure the power cables close to the motor so that vibrations of the cable do not place
impermissible loads on the motor plug connector.

Note that the braking torques of the holding brake (optional) may be reduced by shock
loading.

Also take into consideration the shock load of the motor due to output units (such as
gear units and pumps) which are coupled with the motor.
