Braking mode

Time: brake until preset time
Auto: brake until standstill
The following four parameters determine standstill detection. The control
logic covers 4 steps (1 to 4), where one step must always be complated
before the next step can begin: (1) start-up suppression time, (2) level 1
exceeded, (3) falls below level 2 and (4) braking current overrun.
The signal cycle can be seen on the standstill display.
deadtime
XX.Xs
Start-up suppression time (deadtime)
XX.X
“Adjust time” in seconds; used also to suppress the settling
effects at the start of braking. Standstill detection during this
time is not possible.
Level1
XXX#
Switch-on braking threshold
XXX
Mid-value can be set between the highest and second highest
signal level: also used to switch off fault pulses
Level2
XXX#
Switch-off braking threshold
xxx
Value can be set below the switch-on threshold; determines the
beginning of the braking current overrun.
OffDelay
XX.Xs
Braking current overrun
XX.X
Time in seconds between the detected standstill and the actual
end of the braking process, i.e. braking current switched off.
