Firing time point (firing angle)
Auto: The firing time point is determined by the following
braking process
Relative firing time point relates to the zero voltage switching with a
resolution of 333 ns. If the firing time point increases, the braking current
increases. The parameter is used for setting the braking current when the
control is switched off.
WARNING!
When the control is switched off the permitted braking current could be
exceeded. Always keep a check on the braking current display and, if
necessary, reduce the size of the firing angle.
Example: With a test braking (set “Auto”) the firing angle is given via the
control and appears in the menu. If you switch off the control now
(Proportional factor “off” ), then you can increase or decrease the value
given and therefore, influence the size of the firing angle.
