5.2.3 DCC Configuration
Here you can assign a DCC address to the car or enter a sniffer address for a locomotive you want to monitor (only in DCC).
5.2.4 Display Configuration
As delivered, the PIKO HO SmartMeasure Car has 8 preset screens that individually display a different measured value. You can customize
these screens to suit your needs. In total, 15 screens can be created. In addition, the SmartMeasure Car “ConfigTool” software can be automati-
cally updated by selecting that option on the start page.
5.3 Instructions for using the “ConfigTool”
5.3.1 Update / Reset
Update
The PIKO Webshop has all the firmware files for the SmartMeasure Car, and they are regularly updated. The
updates are titled “Measurement Car Complete_Vx.xx.xx.pfw”. The “x” stands for the version of the firmware.
Before you update, it is advisable to download the latest firmware, as it contains the latest functions and
corrections. It is also possible to use an older version of the firmware
Reset
The reset option is in the same window as the update option. Here you can reset your car to factory settings.
Select the reset option and confirm the security question with OK.
Firmware
The Firmware option shows you what version firmware your car is using. Check back periodically for updates.
