3.2.2 Touch-sensitive panels
There are touch-sensitive black vertical panels located to the left and the right of the display. Place
your fingertip on one of the panels marked in the photo for a half-second. The display will switch
back and forth between different screens or different functions (see section 2.3). The small yellow
arrows at the lower edge of the display indicate whether another screen can be accessed.
3.3 Keypad side
Behind the other door of the PIKO SmartMeasure Car you will find the so-called “mouse piano.” This is the keypad with four function keys, four
LEDs, and a USB port:
3.3.1 LED meanings – from left to right:
1. The red LED
a) blinks together with the yellow LED when the car is starting / booting up, or when firmware
is loading
b) blinks continuously when there is a malfunction
c) blinks continuously when the POWER button is pressed to turn the car off
2. The yellow LED
a) blinks together with the red LED when car is starting / booting up
b) blinks when data is transferred via the USB port
c) blinks continuously when a “test run” (a measuring session) is active
3. The green LED
a) is illuminated continuously when the car is active
b) blinks when the battery is low
4. The blue LED
a) is illuminated continuously when WLAN is active
b) is off when WLAN is off
