When connecting an external water
re-heater battery, an additional tem-
perature sensor must be connected to
input AI6. The external supply air filter,
available as an optional accessory, with
a cable length of 5 m, part No.:
40LG040370 is installed downstream of
the re-heater battery in the air line.
A return flow sensor (immersion sleeve
or strap-on sensor) must be installed for
frost protection of PWW-NHR. The hea-
ting circuit of the supply air re-heating
exchanger may also be operated with
antifreeze. The fans will stop when a
frost alarm triggers.
With room temperature control confi-
gured, the room temperature control-
ler determines a set point supply air
temperature based on the difference
between set point temperature and actu-
al temperature, which is then regulated
by a downstream supply air temperature
controller. With supply air temperature
control configured, the higher level room
temperature control falls away and the
supply air temperature is regulated
directly via a set point supply air tempe-
rature.
10.3.8 Connecting a water re-heater
battery
The complete ventilation
system must be in place along
with all electrical, hydraulic
and air-related connections before com-
missioning the ventilation unit. Commis-
sioning or system settings can only be
performed once all work to the system is
complete.
The factory settings on the control unit
may only be changed by a skilled instal-
ler. Incorrect settings can lead
to errors in the device!
10.4 INITIAL STARTUP
Basic procedure for initial startup:
•
Checking prior to initial startup
•
Are all air lines and integrated compo-
nents installed?
•
Are all system components installed
and electrically connected?
•
Is the electrical wiring complete and
the operator control unit installed?
•
Is a functioning condensate connection
established?
•
Are the air outlets, and inlet and outlet
valves correctly fitted and in the open
position?
•
Are the air filters in the ventilation
unit correctly installed and in a clean
condition?
•
Are the air filters in the earth heat
exchanger etc. correctly installed and
in a clean condition?
•
Are any installed fire dampers in the
open position?
Setting the system parameters
•
Check system components and correct
settings where necessary
•
Set system parameters, e.g. adjust air
volume flow / fan speed
• System time
• Set time programme as required
All lines for sensors, actuators, pumps,
etc. must be connected in accordance
with the electrical circuit diagram . Lines
must be dimensioned by an electrician.
Low-voltage cables must be laid sepa-
rately from mains cables; alternatively,
screened cables must be used. The
electrical circuit diagram indicates the
maximum permissible load capacity for
potential-free outputs (contacts).
10.3.5 Control lines
Pumps connected to the control system
must be intrinsically safe and stallproof.
Electrical connection with U = 230 VAC
and Imax = 2A.
10.3.6 Circulating pumps
Only original fuses with the prescribed
amperage and dimensions may be used.
Internal fuse: Glass tube fuse,
T16A H
ø 6,3 x 32 mm träge
