The front door of the unit has to be ope-
ned to make the condensate drainage
connection.
A sufficiently long hose with min. ø 15
mm internal cross section is connected
to the condensate connector of the venti-
lation unit. The loose end of the con-
densate hose is fed into a siphon which
has been installed on-site. The odour
trap can also be made optionally with an
effective water column of approx. 80 mm
by bending the hose. The hose must not
be kinked and should be suitably fixed.
For reliable drainage of the
water, a sufficient gradient
(min. 5 %) must be ensured.
The odour trap must be filled with
water to effectively prevent odour from
spreading and for the avoidance of leaks.
The condensate tank should be filled
with sufficient water to test the reliable
drainage of water and the leak-tightness
of all connections before commissioning.
Upon completion of the work
all tools and installation
materials have to be removed
from the unit. It has to be ensured that
no tools or installation materials remain
in the unit, because on initial startup
they can cause damage or the destruc-
tion of the unit.
When the front door is closed, sufficient
and dependable sealing against the unit
housing has to be ensured in order to
guarantee airtight and condensate-tight
closure.

For hygienic resasons, the warte of the unit´s
siphon must flow freely into the siphon provided
by the customer. Therefore there must be spatial
separation between the two siphons
