Thrust bearing

1.

 Check that the thrust bearing turns freely, with-

out jamming. Turn the thrust bearing while an axial

force is manually applied to the this bearing. Make

sure there are no abnormal signs of hardening or

obstacles.

2.

 Check the thrust bearing hub for signs of dam-

age or wear. Also check the contact surface of the

relevant stop and housing sliding section for signs

of damage or wear.
