edge ports, i.e., ports that go to the “Forwarding” state immediately after restart.

Indicates the current (R)STP state of the relevant port.

Possible states:

“Forwarding”



The port is integrated in the active topology and forwards data.

“Discarding”



The port does not take part in data transmission.
