3. Special destinations

Select a special facility (airports, hotels,
filling stations, garages, etc.) as your
destination address. Special destinations
are stored on the map CD.

Special destinations related to the destination address

If you are looking for special destinations situated near your destination address:

☞

Select “Special dest.” from the Destination Input menu.

☞

Select “Info on dest.”.

A list of categories specifying the special facilities is presented.

•

For small cities and villages usually only the option “CITY CENTRE” is
available.
If you choose this option, you will be guided to the centre of the city or
village.

Select the desired category (for example HOTEL, PETROL STATION, ...)

•

If a larger number of facilities is available in the database, the typewriter is
shown.

☞

Enter the name of the desired facility or select “List”.

☞

Select the desired facility from the list.

•

If travel guide information on special destinations is stored on the map CD,
the info icon is displayed in the information window of the Main and
Destination Input menu. In this case a special screen with additional
information is shown. For further details read the section “Map CDs with
travel guide information”.
