COM 2 is a secondary RS-232 CPU Link, which may also be connected to a PC or an external 
control  device.   COM 2  may be used  with  either of the protocols shown  in Table 37 and  may 
operate at either 9600 or 38,400 baud.  Set the baud rate with a switch on the controller board. 
Make  sure  the  communication  rate  for  COM  2  in  the  3500  Series  software  matches  the  baud 
rate you are using (in the software, select 

System > Communications

).
