If your child restraint system has a top strap,

it should be anchored.
Follow the procedure below for a child restraint

system that requires the use of a top strap.

Using a top strap

Top-tether anchors location

Use the top-tether anchors behind the second

row seatback to attach the top strap.
Top-tether anchors are installed for each rear

seating position.
The symbol indicates the locations of user

ready top-tether anchors.

To use the top-tether anchors

1. Adjust the seat headrest to the most

upward position.

2. Securely fasten the child restraint system

with the seat belt.

3. Route the top strap through the legs of

the headrest and over the seatback.
