Hood brace

To close hood 

1.  Set the hood brace in the original position, 

while holding the hood by your one hand.

2.  Lower the hood and push it down gently.

• 

While driving, should you notice 
that the hood is not securely 
locked, immediately pull your 
vehicle safely to the side of the 
road, stop the vehicle and latch 
the hood securely.

  Make sure the hood is securely 

closed and latched before  
driving. Otherwise, the hood could 
accidentally open fully and the 
driver's vision will be blocked.

Insert the hood brace into the slot on the hood.
