CWUTION
The keys incorporate in their key heads a
transponder chip that is indispensable to
this engine immobilizer system. Hence,
be sure to observe the following points in
your handling the keys.
1. Do not cover the key grip with an object
(e.g. aluminum gloves) that shuts off
electromagnetic waves.
2. Be very careful not to apply any impact
to the key.
3. Do not expose the key to high temperature
for a long time. For example, do not leave
the key at the dashboard exposed to
direct sunrays.
4. Never soak the key in water and wash
it in a supersonic wave washing
machine.
5. Do not use the key together with an
electromagnetic object (e.g. magnetic
bracelet).
6. Do not operate the ignition switch with the
ring hooked over the key grip, as shown
in the figure above.
7. Do not operate the ignition switch with
another key contacted, as shown in the
figure above.
