Contacting PerkinElmer

If the instrument has been damaged during shipment, an error may occur that
requires you to contact PerkinElmer.

When you contact your local PerkinElmer service engineer, have the following
information available:

•

Instrument model;

•

Serial number of the instrument.

Given on the information plate beside the power switch on the right-hand
side of the Spectrum RX I.

•

Details of the error screen shown.

Storing the Results of the Installation

When all the checks have been completed, the first screen of the installation
report will be displayed:

NOTE:

If this screen shows a warning about excessive noise level, pressing

RETRY

will automatically recheck the signal-to-noise level. This can also

be performed manually (see

Determining the Signal-to-Noise Ratio

on

page 46).
