Connecting via Ethernet
Once the gateway has been connected to the Ethernet (see chapter 3.3), you are ready to
connect your PC.
Connecting to the gateway via Ethernet
1. Connect the Ethernet cable to the Ethernet jack of your PC.
2. To communicate with the gateway, you need to configure the IP address and subnet
mask of your PC. To do this, launch the
Network Connections
window (Windows
®
XP:
Start > Settings > Control Panel > Network Connections
).
3. Right-click on the icon
Local Area Connection
and choose
Properties
from the
context menu.

5. Press
