11.5 Power supply
With this menu item, you can set the currently used power supply. This setting is necessary for a
correct display of the battery status.
Procedure:
1. Press Arrow Up key twice; “Options” appears on the display
2. Press OK key; “Switch-off mode” appears on the display
3. Press Arrow Up key three times; “Power supply” appears on the display
4. Press OK key; the current setting is displayed, e. g. “Batteries”
5. Use the arrow keys to select the desired power supply: “Batteries” or “Rechargeable
batteries”
6. Press OK key for confirmation; your choice, e. g. “Power supply with batteries”, appears on the
display for a short time, followed by the start screen with the four dashes – – – –
11.6 Setting date and time
Via this menu item, you can set the real time clock of the gauge.
Procedure:
1. Press Arrow Up key twice; “Options” appears on the display
2. Press OK key; “Switch-off mode” appears on the display
3. Press Arrow Up twice; “Date + time” appears on the display
4. Press OK key; the current date and time appears on the display, along with “Adjust?”
5. Press OK key; “Set year” appears on the display
6. Use the arrow keys to select the desired year
7. Press OK key
8. Repeat step 6. and 7. four times to adjust month, day, hour and minute. At the end, “Date +
time have been set” appears on the display for a short time, followed by the start screen with
the four dashes – – – –
After battery replacement as well as after switching on the gauge for the first time, an initialisation
menu appears on the display with
a)
English
as suggested language: confirm with OK key or select another language with the
arrow keys; confirm with OK keys; the display will then show
b) a suggestion for
Date
and
Time
: confirm with the OK key or adjust date and time with the
arrow keys; confirm with the OK key (see above).
11.7 Selecting the language
With this menu item you can choose the menu language. Normally you can choose from English,
German, French, Italian, Spanish, Turkish, Czech and Chinese.
Procedure:
1. Press Arrow Up key twice; “Options” appears on the display
2. Press OK key; “Switch-off mode” appears on the display
3. Press Arrow Up key; “Language” appears on the display
4. Press OK key; the actual language appears on the display, e. g. ”English”
5. Use the arrow keys to select the desired menu language, e. g. “Deutsch”
6. Press OK key for confirmation; your choice, e .g. “Sprache Deutsch ausgewählt”, appears on
the display for a short time, followed by the start screen with the four dashes – – – –
