7.5 Deleting readings and statistics
This section explains how to delete the readings and statistics either in direct mode or in a
currently active file in the data memory.
Procedure:
1. Press Arrow Down key twice until “Statistics” appears on the display
2. Press OK key; “Transfer of statistics” appears on the display
3. Press Arrow Down key four times until “Deletion of statistics and readings” appears on the
display
4. Press OK key. The statistics are deleted together with the single values. “Readings and
statistics deleted” appears on the display for a short time, followed by the start screen with the
four dashes – – – –
7.6 Quick deletion of readings and statistics
This procedure offers a simple and quick way to delete all readings and statistical values by
circumventing the menu structure.
Procedure:
1. Press ESC key repeatedly until the start screen with the four dashes – – – – appears on the
display
2. Press ESC key once more; “Delete readings and statistics?” appears on the display
3. Press OK key; “Readings and statistics deleted” appears on the display for a short time,
followed by the start screen with the four dashes – – – –
7.7 Single value/block value statistics
This section describes the activation of single value or block value statistics. With single value
statistics, all single readings are statistically evaluated: N, x̅ , σ, maximum, minimum, Kvar. With
block value statistics, a mean value is calculated from every block of readings, e.g. with 5 readings
per block. All statistical values refer only to the mean value of the blocks. The block size can be
pre-selected individually from 3 to 20 readings for each file.
Activating single value statistics
Single value statistics is active at delivery state and after a total reset.
If this has been changed and you want it reactivated, please proceed as follows.
Procedure:
1. Press Arrow Down key twice until “Statistics” appears on the display
2. Press OK key. “Transfer of statistics! appears on the display
3. Press Arrow Up key three times. “Single-value-/Block-value-statistics” appears on the display
4. Press OK key
5. Press Arrow Down key until “Single val.stat. switch on” appears on the display
6. Press OK key. “Single val. stat. switched on” appears on the display followed by the start
screen with the four dashes – – – – .
The following measurements are now evaluated in the typical statistics view.
