7. Options
The operating interface makes it easy to configure optional equipment, and some of it can
be configured using the PC programme MAP Mon for Windows.
On MAP Check 900X-2 it is only possible to configure optional equipment by means of the
PC programme.
7.1. Automatic three-channel scanner
MAP Check 9000 can be equipped with an automatic three-channel scanner (multiplexer).
The scanner can be set to automatic switching between one, two or three measuring points.
When a scanner has been installed (indicated by means of parameter
PA.3
in the setup
menu (see "Setting up various extra equipment" on page 18), the
SCAN
menu is added:
7.1.1.

ti.1 ti.2 ti.3
:(Timer (clock register) 1, 2, 3)
These three parameters are used to determine the duration of measurement on channels
1, 2 and 3, respectively, in seconds. The entered value can range from 0 to 9999 seconds.
It is not possible to set all values to zero. If you try to do so,
ti.1
is automatically set to 10
seconds. When you switch to a new channel, flushing will always be carried out for del.
seconds.
•
prio
: (Channel 1 priority)
Giving a higher priority to channel no. 1. This parameter is used to determine the channel
selection sequence.
On
or
off
can be selected.
On
:
The channels are selected in the following order: 1,2,1,3,1,2,1,3 ...
Off
:
The channels are selected in the following order: 1,2,3,1,2,3,1,2 ...
The reason for giving channel no. 1 a higher priority is that when an MAP Con 9000
(proportional flow controller) is connected, adjustment is only carried out when channel no.
1 has been selected.
•
PA.SC
: (Scanner parameter)
This parameter consists of four digits, each of which can be set to '0' or '1'. It is used to
determine which of the three channels of the scanner must be monitored by the oxygen
alarms (
Al.1
and
Al.2
). The parameter is also used to determine whether the alarms must
have a hold function.
