value.
If the measured O
2
value is lower than the
lo.o2
value, the proportional valve is closed
until the measured O
2
value is above or equal to the
lo.o2
value. As long as the measured
O
2
value is within the two limits, there will be no upwards/downwards regulation of the
flow.
lo.o2
cannot be entered at a value higher than the
hi.o2
value.
•
reg.h/reg.l
: Max./min regulation value
Enter as
lo/Hi.xx
.
Using these two values it is possible to determine an absolute limit for how much the flow
may be regulated up or down.
•
g.up/g.dn
: Gain when regulating the flow up/down.
Speed with which the flow is turned up/down when the measured O
2
value is outside the
defined regulation window.
g.up
and
g.dn
is entered as O
2
values in the range 0.00ppm to 99.99% O
2
where 1ppm
corresponds to a gain factor of 1. These two values have nothing to do with O
2
, but in order
to extend the value range they are entered as 0
2
values, which allows the gain to be
entered as a factor in the range 0.01 to 999900.0 (0.01ppm - 99.99 %)
The reason why there is both an up factor and a down factor is that there is typically a
desire to rapidly turn up the flow when the oxygen level is too high in the measuring area.
•
g.d
: Degree of differentiation
The degree with which the turning up/turning down of the flow is reduced when rapid
changes occur in the measured O
2
value. g.d is entered as O
2
values in the range 0.00
ppm to 99.99% O
2
. If g.d is set to 0 the differentiation has no effect.

Pump control
This parameter is determined by digit No. 4 in the
PA.1
parameter in the setup menu. "Key
alone (manual pump control)", "Key and external pump control", or "External pump control
alone" can be selected.
