Connection
diagram:
Contacts
1
and
2
are
the
only
used
contacts,
which
are
closed
at
the
required
time.
When
the
source
must
operate,
close
the
contacts,
and
when
it
must
be
switched
off,
open
them.
ATTENTION:
Connection
diagram
and
its
configuration
in
wire
‐
feeding
units
is
individual
for
each
particular
case,
so
it
is
not
provided
in
this
operation
manual
for
the
source.
You
can
find
it
in
the
operation
manual
of
the
feeding
unit.
The
new

wire
‐
feeding
units
produced
by
PATON
have
everything
prearranged,
so
they
can
be
adapted
with
a
minimum
of
effort.
The
only
thing
that
takes
some
time
is
securing
the
plug
in
the
socket
8.
Remember
to
supply
shielding
gas.
If
you
are
new
to
welding
and
do
not
have
experience
in
establishing
optimum
pressure
for
welding
of
a
specific
work
piece,
you
can
for
the
first
time
set
gas
pressure
above
the
optimum
value
~0.2
MPa:
this
will
have
minor
effect
on
the
process,
only
increase
consumption
of
shielding
gas.
However,
follow
general
recommendations
on
semiautomatic
welding
in
the
future
