This section explains how to install the device drivers manually.
Note! Ensure that you install the chipset patch before installing any of the other
device drivers.
Installing the Chipset Patch
Follow these instructions to install the Intel INF chipset patch for
Windows 2000/ME/9X/NT4.0:
1. Insert the driver CD into the CD-ROM drive.
2. Click Start , Run .
3. In the Run Open dialog box, browse to the location of the Intel INF
chipset patch on your driver CD and select it..
4. Click OK .
5. Follow the instructions on the screen to install the Intel INF chipset patch
for Windows.
Installing VGA
Follow these instructions to install VGA device drivers for Windows
2000/ME/9X/NT4.0:
Windows 2000
6. Insert the driver CD into the CD-ROM drive.
7. Click Start , Run .
8. Type “D:\Driver\intel\VGA\WIN2000\SETUP.EXE” in the Run Open dialog
box, where D is your CD-ROM drive.
9. Click OK .
10. Follow the instructions on the screen to install the Windows 2000 VGA
driver.
Windows ME/9X
1. Insert the driver CD into the CD-ROM drive.
2. Click Start , Run .
3. Type “D:\driver\intelVGA\WIN9X\SETUP.EXE” in the Run Open dialog
box, where D is your CD-ROM drive.
4. Click OK .
5. Follow the instructions on the screen to install the Windows ME/98/95
VGA driver.
