Humidity and Temperature Sensor Option
The humidity and temperature sensor connects to the top of the HandiLaz by
means of a bayonet-type connector. See Figure 1-1, “Front and Side View,” on
page 1-2.
To connect the probe to the HandiLaz:
1
Align the red dots on the humidity/temperature sensor connection and the
HandiLaz connection.
2 Push the probe straight toward the HandiLaz chassis until the sensor snaps into
place.
To remove the probe:

Retract the sleeve on the bottom of the humidity/temperature sensor connection.

Pull the sensor straight away from the HandiLaz chassis.
Once the sensor is connected, temperature and humidity values will be
displayed on the HandiLaz measure menu. Care should be taken with the probe
to avoid contamination of the sensor with liquid.
Carry Case Option
The Carry Case holds the HandiLaz and the main accessories as a set.
