Logging in using the terminal emulator

2 Network interface configuration

PHD Network Interface Configuration

If you have already connected previously to a PHD device, you will get this notification
message.

TCP/IP notice

Select "No" to close the message dialog box.
Click OK to save these changes and close the Properties window. This will set the network
interface to use a static IP address so the computer can communicate with the Parker PHD
product.

Logging in using the terminal emulator

Launch the terminal emulator program (Tera Term is shown) and choose ’New
Connection’ from the file menu. In the dialog that appears, make changes as shown in the
picture below to connect to the Parker PHD product.

Tera Term connection window

When the settings match, click OK.
Tera Term will now attempt to connect to this device. If Tera Term has never connected to
this device before (or the device has been reflashed, losing its previous host fingerprint),
the following warning will appear.
