6.2 Creating a Project in CODESYS

New projects can be created within CODESYS as new empty project or from a project template.

6.2.1 Using the Project Templates

On the Parker website project templates for different applications are stored that can be used as starting point for 
an own program development.

6.3 Creating a new Project

You can create a new PAC project off line with no access to the controller.

  Launch the CODESYS software.

à

  Choose “New Project”.

à

  Choose Standard Project and choose the location you would like to store the project. Click “OK”.

à

  Choose “PAC120” as device from the device list and confirm with “OK”.

à

  Choose the programming language for the program module “PLC_PRG”.

After adding the device, further objects are available in the project tree.
