The motor rotates in
the wrong direction
1.
The hydraulic inlet & outlet A & B
connections are reversed.
1.
Correct the connections.
Motor rotation is not
smooth
1.
Pressure
and/or
flow
rate
.fluctuations of the hydraulic system.
2.
Displacement fluctuations (variable
displacement motors only).
1.
Research the reason by analysing
the hydraulic circuit or the
mechanical transmission.
2.
Check the hydraulic system that
feeds the motor displacement
control function or inspect the motor
piloting system (if so, pls. refer to
Parker Calzoni service centre).
Noise
1.
Timing system still breaking in.
2.
Too low boost pressure.
3.
Residual air inside the motor driving
system.
4.
Resonance phenomena generated
by pipes or the rest of the system.
5.
Bearings.
1.
After the first few operating hours,
the noise (squeaking) generated by
the contact surfaces of the timing
system disappears.
2.
Set the boost pressure value as
described in the “Pump Operation:
Boost Pressure” section.
3.
After the first few operating hours,
the air present in the motor driving
system will be mixed with the fluid
and purged out.
4.
Optimise size and type of hydraulic
pipe connections to the motor. For
information and support, pls. contact
Parker Calzoni.
5.
When operating idle, the bearings
noise can be heard; the noise
disappears as soon as load is applied
to the motor shaft.
