4. Laying power cable
Raise the bed to the highest position.
Route the power cable on the side where
the user does
not get on or off the air mattress and the bed side table
is not used.

Route the power cable on the side where the user does not get on or off
the air mattress and the over bed table is not used. There is a risk of
tripping over the power cable and falling over. There is also a risk that the
power cable may be damaged, causing electric shock or fire.
z If the bed has a height adjustment function, route the power cable while
the bed has been raised to the highest position. If the power cable is not
routed at the highest position of the bed, the power cable may be pulled
and disconnected when the bed is raised, possibly causing a fire.
z
Do not route the power cable inside or under the bed. If the power cable
get caught in the casters or the mov able parts of the bed, the power cable
may be damaged, possible causing electric shock or fire.
5. Connecting to the power supply
WARNING

Do not plug the power cord into a multiple-socket
outlet. Plugging the power cord into a
multiple-socket outlet or power strip shared by
other electrical equipment could cause the outlet
to exceed its rated capacity, causing the power
cable or plug to overheat, resulting in fire.
z Do not plug the power cord into an outlet shared
by other ME devices. There is a risk of fire
caused by heating up of the power cable or
power plug.
z
Make sure to plug the power cord into an outlet
equipped with a circuit protector.
z
There is a risk of electric shock.
z
Each air mattress should be plugged into a separate,
appropriately wired, single-phase power outlet of 240
VAC,10 A or greater and the power plug must be
properly inserted into the outlet.
z
Disconnecting the power plug from the outlet can
separate the air mattress from the power.
z
Do not place the air mattress or other
devices in locations that hinder access
to the power plug. Doing so prevents the
power plug being disconnected
immediately when necessary.
