It is important for personal safety that these instructions are
followed. Failure to observe these instructions could result
in material damage or personal injury during the use of this
product. The manufacturer bears no responsibility for material
damage or personal injury caused by failure to observe these
instructions.
Take note of the following points before commencing
assembly:

The following assembly instructions apply to this product and
contain important advice on assembly and operation. They de-
scribe the assembly of the paramondo®™ outdoor roller blind.
This product is not intended for any use or special application
which deviates from these instructions.
Correct use / conditions of use
The paramondo®™ outdoor roller blind is an external sun and
heat protection product that may only be used for its intended
purpose. Additional loads on the paramondo®™ outdoor roller
blind caused by suspended objects or rope bracings can cause
damage to the product and are therefore not allowed. Follo-
wing the present instructions and the observance of the mon-
tage conditions belong to the intended use. Use only original
components and original accessories of the manufacturer.
■ ATTENTION! When working on windows be sure to
be protected against falls. Do not let any tool fall
out of the window!
■
ATTENTION! To avoid injuries and damages, please
note that when tensioning the spring, it is under a
very high tension!
■ ATTENTION! Prevent children from leaning against
the roller blind when the window is open. Other-
wise there is a risk of falling.
■
ATTENTION! Make sure at regular intervals that
the roller blind is still correctly mounted, that it
has lost no mounting parts and that it is safe from
falling down from the window by wind pressure or
suction.
■
ATTENTION! Do not cut yourself! There is a risk of
injury when handling sharp tools!
ATTENTION! The tension of the spring is already factory-set.
Readjustment is not necessary under normal circumstances.
If the spring tension needs to be adjusted, it should be done according to the instructions for
adjusting the spring tension.
Spring breaks when over-tensioned. In order to avoid injuries and damage, please note that the spring is under an
extremely high tension!
