THE RIGHT SIZE AND DISTANCES

: 

 

a) 

HWIGHT OF THE HOOD: For hood installations over a gas  cooker, the minimum height between 

the cooktop and the bottom of the hood should be 65 cm according to regulations. 

The distance can 

be greater, according to the type of cooktop, consult the manufacturer or the manual of the cooktop. A greater 
distance than the recommended could cause less than optimum operation as fumes may leak from the sides.

 

Consult the installation manual, which will indicate the height of the hood over a gas cooker. A very small 
distance could worsen the condensation effect, especially in the case of induction
