Mode Selector Switches
The PanBlast
TM
AirScan Mobile CO Monitor mode
select dip-switches have four (4) functional
operations programmed by setting the
positions of switches 1 through 3. The
functions and settings are described below:
Function – 1:
2
Minute
warm-up
Switch #1 Off
Switch #2 On
Switch #3 Off
This setup has a 10 second low pressure and
high pressure warning beep and no delay on
alarm conditions. This is the default setup.
Function – 2:
2 Minute warm-up
Switch #1 Off
Switch #2 Off
Switch #3 Off
This setup will delay the activation of an alarm
condition by 10 seconds. This setup would be
used in an area where intermittent radio
frequency (RF) transmission is causing false
alarm conditions.
Function – 3:
2 Minute warm-up
Switch #1 On
Switch #2 Off
Switch #3 Off
This setup will eliminate the low pressure 10
second warning beep condition. This function
would be used in situations where the
compressor is turned off, but the monitor is left
operating.
Function – 4:
1 Minute warm-up
Switch #1 On
Switch #2 Off
Switch #3 On
This setup would eliminate the low pressure 10
second warning beep and imposes the 10
second alarm delay conditions.

Horn and Remote Alarm Outputs
(Reference Figure 5)
The PanBlast
TM
AirScan Mobile CO Monitor
circuit board has two (2) 12VDC output Molex
connectors J3 and J5 shown in Figure 5. One is
used to power the internal alarm horn; the
other is unused and can power an external low
current alarm device. Maximum current draw
for these outputs is 200ma. Exceeding this limit
will damage the circuit board
. Contact the
manufacturer to obtain a pigtail connector
setup for use with these outputs.

Remote Relay Dry Contacts
(Reference Figure 5)
In addition to the 12VDC Molex output
connectors the PanBlast
TM
AirScan Mobile CO
Monitor has one relay connector (J2) shown in
Figure 5. The relay connector is a switch that
closes the normally open contacts (NO) when an
alarm condition exists. It can be used to
complete an electrical circuit. The relay contacts
are rated for a maximum current of 5 amps.
Figure 6 illustrates a typical application.

AC/DC Power Option
(Reference Figure 5)
The PanBlast
TM
AirScan Mobile CO Monitor is
equipped with two different connectors and
several options for supplying power to the
circuit board. For battery hookup the board has
two spade connectors (DC+ positive & DC-
negative) that utilize push on terminal
